Alright after a quick chat with some… elders… it seems the audio problems being experienced may or may not be artifacts, but a result of 5.1 surround mix-down and possible noise-reduction being used?
But like I said, there’s probably a huge laundry list of bigger problems going on behind the scenes, and this is just a byproduct. Either way, people are getting fired tonight.
